My Background
When I was a child, my parents had two different friends that were artists. I learned some techniques by watching them. And my father is a house painter. I learned a lot about paint from him. However, I did not really become an artist until I met Wyland, the famous Marine Life artist. He encouraged me to start painting and has taught me so much. My art is featured at his galleries in Florida.
My Medium
I use many different mediums, such as watercolor, acrylics, ink, spray paint, and digital art. I also began sculpting recently. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
My Inspiration
I love to paint tropical birds and places the most. The tropical environment is what really inspires me. I love palm trees and being in, or around water, as much as I can. I also love birds. Especially flamingos and parrots. I had a little green Quaker Parrot named Rico. (RIP my little Rico)
